Over $500K Budge for Cocaine Treatment Malibu
In October 2005, the district received grant funding in the amount of $558,689 (over a 3 year funding cycle) from the U.S. Department of Educations Office of Safe and meth treatment malibu Schools. The grant allowed the district to reinstate a more comprehensive meth problem malibu testing program and evaluation. The population served by the current grant includes about 969 student athletes at El Camino High School and 436 student athletes at Oceanside High School.
